PhantomStage 5.1 ("we," "us," or "our") is a private audio conversion service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with your use of our website and services.

We operate on a simple principle: we collect only what is necessary to deliver your conversion, operate and improve the website, and protect the service. We do not share, sell, or retain your files beyond what is required to complete your order.

• Audio files — the stereo FLAC files you submit for conversion, which are processed and then returned to you
• Order preferences — your selected surround style, bass preference, and any custom notes you provide
• Payment information — processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers
• Basic usage data — standard web server logs and Google Analytics 4 website measurement data, such as page visits, approximate location, device/browser information, referral source, and basic interaction events

We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager for basic website analytics. We do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags, third-party ad networks, or cross-site advertising profiling tools. We do not send audio files, payment details, or the content of private order notes to Google Analytics.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To process and deliver your audio conversion order
• To communicate with you about order status, delivery, and support
• To process payment through our secure payment provider
• To respond to questions or revision requests
• To maintain basic security and operational logs for the website
• To understand which pages, playback resources, and conversion paths are useful so we can improve the website experience

We do not use your submitted audio files or order information for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not send personally identifying order details to Google Analytics, and we only send marketing communications if you have explicitly opted in.

Your Audio Files

Your submitted audio files are treated with strict confidentiality:

• Files are received and stored temporarily for the duration of your conversion project
• Files are processed solely for the purpose of completing your order
• Delivered output files are sent directly to you and not retained beyond a reasonable post-delivery window (typically 14 days)
• We do not share, distribute, reproduce, or monetize your files in any way
• We do not use your files to train machine learning models or for any purpose other than your specific conversion

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers strictly for operational purposes:

• Payment processors — to securely handle your transaction
• File transfer or delivery services — to securely deliver your completed files to you
• Email service providers — to send you order confirmations and delivery notifications
• Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — to collect basic website measurement and reporting data about how the site is used

These providers process data under their applicable service terms and privacy policies, and we use them only for the limited operational, delivery, payment, email, or measurement purposes listed here.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our service and users.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill your order and comply with our legal obligations:

• Order records and contact details are retained for up to 12 months for support and dispute purposes
• Submitted and converted audio files are deleted within 14 days of confirmed delivery unless you request earlier deletion
• Payment records are retained as required by applicable accounting and tax regulations

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.

Cookies

This website uses minimal cookies, including strictly necessary account/session cookies and Google Analytics cookies for basic website measurement. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and maintain session state.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, Meta/Facebook Pixel cookies, Google Ads remarketing cookies, or social media widget cookies.

You may disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect sign-in. Blocking analytics cookies may limit our ability to understand website use, but it will not prevent you from reading public pages.
